St Botolph's Parochial Church Council

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) meets once a month, usually on the third Thursday in Botolph's Barn. Its principal role is to work with the rector to promote the whole mission of the church in the parish - pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

It also holds an annual general meeting at which a written report is presented detailing the work of the church during the year and including the financial report and accounts.

The PCC has taken a particularly important role during the recent interregnum (when there was no resident rector), arranging services and over-seeing the full range of church activities, including organising the annual gala.

The PCC is led by two church wardens - at present they are Chris Topper and Pat Jackson.

The other members are
Catharine Davies (Secretary)
David Snodgrass (Treasurer)
Syd Smith (Verger)
Richard Astle
Chris Britton
Stewart Davies
Laura English
Kate Hinchliff
Mark Hotchkin
Linda Irons
Linda Smith
Joyce Stanton

Elections to the PCC are held at the annual general meeting, normally held in March-April.

For information about the work of the PCC call Chris Topper on 01733 252506.
