MEH Spreading

Father and son Earnest and Mark Hornsby established MEH Spreading in the mid-1980s, based at the far end of Heath Road, heading out of the village on the site of a former nursery.

The company supplies and delivers locally sand and gravel for both domestic and commercial customers. It also provides agricultural contracting services, including manure and lime spreading.

Prior to the establishment of MEH Spreading, Earnest Hornsby and his wife ran a nursery at the site for over four decades, specialising in fuchsias and house and bedding plants, and displaying at agricultural shows across the country.
