Alfresco Landscaping

The Alfresco team has more than 40 years experience in the horticulture and construction industry that ensures that any conceived idea can be turned into reality with the care, attention to detail and streamlined project management for which Alfresco has become known.

Designer and director Alastair Peat works on the premise that people deal with people and this ensures the Alfresco experience is one of enjoyment on both sides. Alastair set up Alfresco Landscaping as his passion for gardening, plant care and construction had been a hobby for many years. Designing and constructing gardens for friends and family around other work gave him the ideal background for the business.

Alastair graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in engineering and followed a career in project management in the petrochemical and power generation industries honing his skills in supplier management, customer care, logistics and turning an idea into reality.

He stepped out of this field to set up Alfresco to enjoy the excitement of creating enjoyable spaces for people to relax in their own gardens and to help them maintain them for years to come.

Alastair lives in Helpston with his wife and young daughter, playing tennis and golf when time allows.
